Outraged...

Post by kappage »

It was the usual Saturday morning get up at like 11 turn on the T.V channel flick go make coffee. But to my horror after coming back from making coffee i realised that they have re-made power rangers..... no it is not better or even on par with the original.

Heres a site.

What are you on about? Power Rangers "the original" was a waste of airtime... why would you care if they made a new version?

Ahh dude, the original was great!!! then again, I was like five at the time so my POV was a tad different...now that I look back it was a waste of time...

I always liked the blue one, think he drove a tryceratops if I remember correctly...hell I used two have like the first couple series, might go threw some of my old crap and see if I can't find some of the Power rangers stuff I used to own...then again, maybe not cause then I'd have to move my starwars crap and I got a lot of that (I throw away NOTHING) :)

gotta remember Tristan, that was our time, I'm guessing kappage is about my age (19ish) to have appreciated power rangers and I'm guessing you're just old enough to have realized at the time how retarded that show was (I'd say >25ish) :finga:

TMNT were...fun...not good but fun...good show to watch if stoned
As for the movie...meh, I'll wait for the 'first time ever on TV premeire special' cause, again, it looks like a good movie to watch when stoned, but you don't buy/rent something for that reason (though ironically, I bought Half-Baked "You ever see the back of a twenty dollar bill man? You ever see the back of a twenty dollar bill... on weed? Oh, there's some crazy ****, man. There's a little dude in the bushes. He's got a gun? I dunno! RED TEAM GO, RED TEAM GO." )...

Ah, here. What age are you? I know we had the demographics thread and all, and I'm slightly to the high side... but seriously - what happened to "The Fall Guy" and "CHiPs?"

Not to mention "He-Man" and "Knight-Rider" in it's first run...

Dang, I'm getting old.

This must be at least the 7th incarnation of power rangers...

Seriously, even as a kid I knew how repetitive this show was, name an episode and this plot will fit :P

1. Cool gymnast/sports kids hanging out at school
2. Bad guy sends z men
3. kick ass time as kids
4. "Oh noes, theres too many"
5. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Time
6. Kick ass as power rangers
7. Sends created moster(s)
8. Getting power rangers whoop-assed
9. Weapon time
10. Oh noes its too powerful
11. Weapon combo time
12. Monster gets big just as they got the weapons together
13. Zoid time
14. Oh noes its still too powerful
15. Super zoid
16. Winner!
17. Laugh at stupid kids that nearly find out who the power rangers are but fail by their own stupididty
--. Random apperances by face dude and that robot.

Old school TV shows are the best. Although anime has the artistic flair to hold my attention now, badly drawn Looney Tunes will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you Warner Brothers!
