Dan get a portfolio together and get some ads out in some papers. Hell the law firm I worked for had some graphic work and yours is far better than what they go.

I've gotta agree with Dicecca here, I truely thought you were already in the graphics design business. I enjoy graphic design, but most of my work can't touch yours (though our styles are slightly different  ).
..Get a site and portfolio together just make sure you provide us with a link

outta curiousity, what are you going to school for?

Was going to put this in a new post but I'll just tack it on this one...

Got bored, decided to make a desktop based on Apop's avatar. Don't feel like making a bunch of desktop sizes so just tell me what size you want...I doubt this one will have the popular appeal of Dan's  not sure how I feel about the second so here's two versions

Alathald, please tell me you haven't just put my awesome logo on one of the only things I hate with a passion? You just like winding me up, don't you?

I would never do such a thing :snakeman:
Seriously though, I didn't know you had a passionate hatred for Apop's Avatar...but, and here's the most ironic part, it may start showing up in Apop's reviews
Besides I didn't put your logo on the frog, I put it on a t-shirt, which I then proceded to put on the frog :finga:

Not to dig up a slightly old thread, but the work here is really good.

So good, that I customized the art work into my signature. :)

I'm no Photoshop nor Photonet user. My skills are more like M$-Photo Editor and M$-Powerpoint. :P

looks great, but I see something a little wierd... the shading on the LR is opposite of the shading on the ring around the LR

Yep, I changed it. The white looks more appealing to the eyes on the forum here. As for the opposite of the shading on the ring around the LR, that I didn't do. I grabbed that image off of a heat-sink review done on the site. Mostly this image is tagged onto many of the review pictures across the entire site.

Here's what I did ...

It is really interesting to see how the dark green text looks shades different in the black vs. the white sigs when actually it's the same color used.

It is why I had to put a glow on the back of the text etc, to make it pop.
