I'm not having voltage issues though because I'm not overclocking my memory yet. Anyway, that link to the guy that wrote the article, if you e-mail him will he let you send him your motherboard? I would like to get that stuff done and I'm looking into getting a more advanced cooling system, I don't really know anything about peltier or whatever it's called. I'm still pretty new to this computer business.

As to sending the guy your mobo, he told me he would glady help anyone out, seems like a very nice guy and has really good reputation as well.
As to voltage issues. You are going not going to hit 250 on your FSB without increasing the voltage to your processor and RAM. i know it is rated to 500FSB at stock voltage, but I have always had to increase it to get my system stable.
Stay away from Pelts, they are too much of a hassle, they generate condensation and heat.
you can get a decent O/C with a good air solution like a thermalright HS. As for W/C if you want simple, I'd recommend a corsair external, good results w/ minimal hassle. If you want high end with maximum results i swear by Danger Den and PolarFLO.
As to phase change cooling, the benefits do not nearly make up for the hassles.
Tajke your time and work your way up to the high end stuff. wth air (SP-94) I hit 3.75 no problem with my 3.2 Prescott. with the PolarFLO i can hit 3.84-3.9 no problem. On my AMD system I sit at 2.58-2.6 under 40C with both my SLK948 and the new XP-120

I'm not really overclocking my RAM much, but my DDR400 will go to atleast 425-430 at stock voltages, I will be setting the CPU:RAM ratio so that I can still use my DDR400 atleast for a while, I'm not too keen on spending another $350 or so for a gig of 4400. The high CPU overclock is more for bragging rights than actual performance gains

And was that 409FSB record set with a 3.2GHz? I saw 3.2GHz somewhere in that article... that's over 6.5GHz

Core temps are just a calculation... the diff between degrees are acurate, but different companies use a slightly different calculation which causes different mobo brands to have a wide variety of mobo temps.

Take another look at the article for more details... we got a pretty detailed reply from Intel on this issue.
