Thermaltake Announces and Shows 2000W Power Supply

Post by Apoptosis »

Thermaltake has a 2000W PSU on display here at Computex 2007... They said it failed UL testing in the US (all over 1500W fail), but has passed in Europe and they will bring it out late Q3/Q4 2007!

That thing his ridiculously huge  , both power rating and size.

But I guess if you run dual 8800ultras and a dual quad cores bunch of drives and a water setup you might need it. Hate to see the electric bill.

with that much power you could run two microwave ovens... that's gotta generate quite a bit of heat..
