I've used a combination of DVD Decrypter and Videora myself... A google search will find you directions of all the settings you need to modify in each application...

I second xilisoft, I used it for ripping Aqua teens onto my phone, works great and if you use the right format, you will get awesome results.

It seems that the majority of DVD that I have ripped to the HD have several files that are the same size and most often not the whole movie. Do i have to convert each on e individually?

I have tried both xilisoft and Any DVD Converter for ipod, both of them worked, however, I prefer Any DVD Converter, it's more user-friendly and powerful. :)
