SMP problem

Post by vbironchef »

Everything seems fine, but I'm not getting any points for folding. Has this happened to anyone else? What can I do to fix this problem. I already reinstailed the program. I seems to be running just fine. I Don't know why I am not getting any credit. What do you think. Thanks,

Has it finished any work units?

Make sure your name is PERFECT or it will give credit to someone else - go to the folding@home folder and open the client.cfg with notepad - you can see your name as f@h sees it. I believe you can change it in there also - just make sure not to put spaces or anything else in there :)

also check you configuration- you could have it set to "send work in a bunch"(or something like that) so it only sends the work in after youve done quite a few and sends them all in at once

I think I had a bad connection to the server. Keep on folding.
