X1600 problems

Post by Theo »

Hello!
Recently I've bought a PC. :supz: I installed some games and everything was cool. After one week when I've launch Gothic3 the screen became black the game blocked itself and after ten seconds computer automaticaly reset. I tried to play Prince of persia, too; same story. I formated my entire HDD, I've instaled some games and I've started to play. One week everything was fine. After one week I've started DOOM3 and a black screen appear and the computer reset himself. I don't know what to do. I have last driver 7.7. PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GO TO MY PROVIDERS! :axe: . I've instaled Windows Vista Ultimate, too but there I haven't games but after I switch to AERO few times the black screen appear. I have important data on my computer now, I don't wanna go to my provider because I'm afraid that he is gonna change my entire system to a new one (I bought my computer full, not on separated components)

Theo,

Welcome to the forums... You said you are running vista... Which version and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

Have you checked your system temperatures?? What are your memory timings? Do you need to loosen the timings or increase the voltage?
