cool. ive never been there. there is a lake called Lake Pillsbury that has a herd of elk roaming around, they are pretty amazing to watch.

I live in Valencia (Los Angeles county). It was short trip, 4 days, we drove up to Crescent City. There is another nice spot - Fern Canyon in the same park I told your before, worth to see! Another good stop - Shelter Cove and Black Sand Beach - 20+ miles towards a coast from town Garberville. And of course red wood parks, they are fabolous north of Eureka and near Crescent city
