Best software to clean the registry for Windows XP?
What would be the best software to buy to fix and clean the registry for Windows XP?
Re: Best software to clean the registry for Windows XP?
IMO it's more of a preference of software.
I've tried 3 different ones, and they all work pretty much the same way. If you want a lot options, I would go with Advance System Optimizer or Uniblue's RegistryBooster
I hope you know what you're doing, because this ain't a tool cleaner for any kind computer user. It will prompt you to delete keys that may seem faulty or lead to nowhere when they actually do! And could mess up some things on XP. And is why I don't even really bother with em anymore cuz I don't know wtf I'm doing.

I've been using AMust registry cleaner and disk cleaner for a while now. Both seem to work pretty well for what they are designed to do.

I definitely install and play with random things on my machine on a regular basis but I downloaded this software called registrycleanfix and really helped me to clean my pc; here it's the link http://www.registrycleanfix.info/ it might be very useful if your pc or windows start crashing!

I have used both Regcleaner http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-downlo ... ner4.3.htm
And also Ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/
Both are freeware and work well for me.

Hello,
AMUST Registry Cleaner is free and does a decent job. Been using it for about a year. Just don't get carried away and clean the registry too often.. there are risks.
