Help with svideo connection please
Hi, I'm trying to hook my xbox into my video card to capture game footage. My card (an ATI Rage Pro) has an 8 pin svideo in plug but the xbox cable has a 4 pin plug. I've been searching online but I cant find any 8-pin to 4-pin adapters. Does anyone know how I can make this work? also, what's the point of the 8-pin setup? I cant figure it out

If it really has a s-video in then a standard 4 pin s-video cable will fit in the connector on your graphics card and work fine.
The idea is that the 8 pin s-video out port is used for other things like composite and component outputs with the help of special adaptors.
