sorry for the double post, wanted to bump this again.
What is the difference between 65 nm and 90 nm... I don't even know what those things stand for really.
Should I go with one over the other, or does it depend on my Mobo? My current chip is a 90 nm

65nm is the newer more energy efficient core. If there's a price difference just get the cheaper one.

If I am not mistaken the nm stands for Nano Meter: metric unit of length equal to one ten billionth of a meter (or 0.0001 micron) In CPUs I beleive it is the width of the channel that is etched into the silicon board which is then filled with conductive material making up the processor "frame" for lack of a better word. As we get better at making things we can make them smaller thus 90nm is older than 65nm which I think also means you can have more processing power in the same physical area. When they get better at making things smaller they usually have to improve the efficiency as well since a smaller channel will not move as much electricity as a larger one....the wires that bring power to your house are much larger than the wires that power your vacuum and they also run hotter. The drawback is that IF you overclock a 65nm CPU you MAY have heat issues faster adding voltage to the CPU than you would with a 90nm.

And that answers my other question... how will a 65nm overclock.
Would a 65 nm actually use less wattage from my PSU? that is an issue now that I am getting a new CPU

It might overclock better but not by much. The 65nm will draw less power from your power supply than a 90nm. But because you are going from a single core CPU to a dual core CPU it will pull more juice.

I dont plan on overclocking much if any at all... My Mobo does allow some overclocking, but I dont push it very far

Ive gotten my new dual core, and it is awesome. Really helps out my computer. I didnt realize that there were no drivers to instal... just drop it in and go!
processors are now my favorite piece to install... I still hate ram though, Im always afraid of breaking it off

Definitely get the dual core optimizer/timing fix. Otherwise some games will run like crap.

Bioshock came with the timing fix, and I did install that... is it the same thing as the driver link you sent?
