How much power?
How much power?
I know there are sites that will calculate this for you but I am more looking for the average that is in use right now. Would 450W to 600W cover "most" systems? When do you really have to have the next step which is normally 750W? sorry for all the questions about PSUs but when your broke and saving for one you have lots of time to plan out what to get.

Re: How much power?
Depends on the system you plan. don't look for just wattage, look for quality of build and AMPS on the 12V Line. Want you plan on building would really help

Re: How much power?
I don't have a planned build. I never have enough money to build a whole system all at once so I have to try to make each component last as long as I can before it needs to be replaced.

Re: How much power?
If you are just upgrading little things as in graphics card, or maybe for a slave/master hardrive.
You just a bit better. A 500W should be plenty, as well as for a custom build.
Totally recommend Corsair power supply.
