Final Straw...PC IS DEAD!

Post by Razorbacx »

For the past few months I've been living with a pc that takes close to 10 minutes to boot up and multiple hardware failures, however last night my pc now boots up to windows (after the normal 10 minutes) and then shuts back down, restarting itself and then repeating the entire sequence over and over. I give up! Anyone have a sledge hammer that they would be willing to send me to smash this POS to ity bity bits?!

I just got back my repaired video card back, installed it and it started squealing just like it was previously doing. Beware of Leadtek and their crap products and product support! This is the 4th failure in less than 18 months and I don't practice overclocking and haven't been abusing my pc in any shape or form. Now, my pc is dead and I'm willing to bet that the video card had something to do with its demise.

So, before I bore you with anymore bitching and moaning is there anything that I can do to possibly save my pc?

Thanks,

Razorbacx

If your PC stays up long enough, disable automatic reboots after BSOD and see if it is giving a BSOD error and restarting.

I usually see my desktop for about 5 seconds before it crashes and then reboots.
