I have heard of NDA's that prohibit you from talking about the game content, but none that prohibit you from telling others that you are in the beta test.

I wouldn't mind being part of it. :prayer:

A couple friends of mine have it, all say it's nowhere near as good as it's supposed to be. Low FPS, and really buggy, but isn't that what beta's are all about. Below is a screenshot which one of my friend's sent me (remove this if I'm violating any rules).

I'd love to get a copy, but I haven't got a DX10 card yet and my rig is in parts.
screwloose45 I wouldn't post too many screen shots, for your own sake, especially ones with graphical errors.
If you signed or agreed to a NDA, that's between you an them, but I suspect the main reason for the NDA is not to have details of the game, which has bugs go public.

I didn't sign, or agree to anything  Everything I posted is what I've been given by friends. And also, I think the beta uses DX9.

That's just it, one of them is running a QX6850 @ 3.4Ghz with dual 8800 GTX's in SLI. So I'd really hate to see how this would run on my 7 series card.

Holy shnikes that game needs some AA. Man the floor and the wall/step looked like one big set of stairs. I have a feeling the MP part of Crysis will have 100 people on average playing. They are making this game for SP primarily and MP as an after birth, I mean after thought. I would liken the disparity between SP and MP to the BF 2/BF 2142 series. Yes there are both SP and MP to choose but we all know what the game was designed for.

Due to the NDA, I shall not discuss specifics, but I wouldn't let this one screenie influence your decision about the game.

Is the beta still open? I'm going to be in an area of high speed internet this weekend, and I will try getting it if possible.

I'll try to be on tonight, but it's not certain. I'll be back on in a little bit... catch me on AIM, or I'll PM when I get back.
