Yup, most new scanners come with it. What you need is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Software this will look at the image and convert the text in it to a document, if there are images it will scan them as images and place it in the document as well.

You know I didn't notice it too, this guy has spam links in his sig.
I swear the bots are getting better. Or worse, people are actually actively posting instead of having bots do it now.
