My wife has a dell laptop and when she does a reformat and installs a new windows xp she does this with out a windows xp cd. I guess it's on another partition on her hard drive. If I use a hot key ( I think it was F3) it would send you to setup. I was wondering, can I setup my computer that I put together myself with windows xp pro the same way, it would be nice not to find all my disks like my raid drive, and all the other drivers , instead
I could just make a hot key to setup everything thats already setup on another partition and install it again, could that work. If so, where could I get the how- to on doing this thing. Thanks for any info.
Not sure how to say this, installing windows xp pro

Check out nLite, you can create a Windows disc with integrated drivers and your product key already included in the setup, among various other options.

Wow..!
I like the Acronis® Disk Director Suite 10.0, I e-mailed them to ask a few things but I realy like that, would this program work along with Intel's Matrix Storage Manager ok..? Just wondering because Matrix does do a few of the things that Acronis does. Thank you for your replys.

That I don't know. I guess you'll have to wait on a reply. I know I was messing around with Linux distros once and created a hidden rescue partition on the PC I was playing with. In the end I didn't like any of the Linux distros and restored my system back to Windows.

It's a great way to try other systems though with this program. Thanks for the reply Major_A . I'm looking at this G33 Intel mb and tower and everything else that goes with a computer in a box, my wife ordered this and now I guess I better start putting it together, she wants it up and running for tonight when she get's home from work or I'm a dead man!
Along with her laptop and this home computer she should be happy.....I hope
