Post by Zertz »

Just finished installing at 1.5GB demo, my hopes are high for this game!

Anyone else tried it?

I'm doing the beta, though I haven't had much chance to play it since installing due to family issues. Gonna try to get in a few hours this weekend though.

DX9 only, can run very high everything except AA (medium setting) on a 8600GTS. Graphics are not like awesome, but they're nice. That's the price to pay for random levels I guess. Gameplay is a mix of WoW and Diablo 2.

Also have the beta here but haven't had more than a half hour to play. I play everything on highest settings no problem, 7900gs.

I was going to play this some more, but after the install I kept getting BSOD relating to my video drivers. I had to restart in safe mode, remove the video drivers, restart, uninstall demo, reinstall nvidia drivers, works like a charm again but no more demo. I'm not sure if it was a fluke, but somehow the demo corrupted my drivers or otherwise messed something up. Anyone else have a problem?

I was anticipating this game, and after playing the demo I will not be buying it.

All of the levels look the same, I even counted the EXACT same building 5 times in one city street. It was destroyed exactly the same as all of the others... LAME!

I was a fan of Diablo so of course I got this. Just playing single player for now, waiting for a few friends to pick it up before starting to play online.

It's far from being the best looking game, but I really like the gameplay. That's the price to pay for random levels... Feels alot like Diablo and for some reason it was a great game! It also looks like it's geared towards more casual players (unlike WoW), you can squeeze 20 minutes of playtime in your night and still enjoy it.
