needless to say, I've called 5 times and still no answer to my question.. wrote numerous to different people nothing. Its just a bad program I guess

So where you able to solve the problem yet?
I exactly have the same problem (with Ativa Wireless). However, I had a Belkin and other Wireless USB adapters before, but same thing. Then I gave my notebook to a computer person, and he told me that maybe a wireless adapter might cause all the trouble. So he just used an ativa instead of the netgear I had before: he said it was running 3 three days without any trouble. When I used it, it was working, but now I have the same problem again... So I don't know what to do. Buying another USB wireless adapter wouldn't solve the problem!
