lanpart2 watercooling?
lanpart2 watercooling?
My nf7 took a dump, got a new board and chip. Went with the dfi version. Anyhow, I want to try watercooling it along with the 6800gt (asus 256mb version). Wanted to use that new corsair system but its only for 64's. Anyway, if one of you guys want to try and troubleshoot my nf7 along with the chip (mobile 2500) I will mail it to you. If you can get it to work, keep it. Everything powers up but the bios doesnt initialize, no beep at all with or without chip in. Anyway, lemme know some info guys.
just get a new hold down from corsair or if they wont give it to you for some odd reason swiftech http://www.swiftnets.com afaik the corsair block is the same size as the mcw6000 just a different amount of pins (both are made by swiftech). unless the xp block is has a notch in it then it might require a little extra work, but as long as the hold down bolts on you should be able to rig something, i think

I got your info in my inbox with your pm Apoptosis and will send the box out soon as I get a chance, they have all mail shut down for the time being due to attacks but it will be back up again in a few days. If you can get it back up and running just hook one of the forum guys up if they need it. There are a few systems on the way to some of my friends here so after the initial build of their system all their pc inquiries will be routed to you guys, capper suggested getting more people on so im going to let them in on my secret stash of pc answers
As for the cooling solution I found what looks to be a compatible setup with the corsair system at xoxide.com
Well, catch you guys later... Till next time, drink a corona for me =)
