Hi,
I have an ATI 2600XT plugged on a TV via component output and everything works fine. When Windows boot, it initialize the graphics engine and then I see a picture on the TV. So the setup is like that :
PC ---- (component) ----> TV
I just bought an A/V receiver (Sony SRT-DG800) and I want to centralize all audio/video on it... But when I do this setup :
PC ---- (component) ----> AV Receiver ---- (component) ----> TV
It seems that the ATI drivers could not determine if a TV is plugged-in and it does not initialize the TV output so I see no picture.
I tried to plug the PC directly on the TV and boot up Windows and then plug the audio video receiver between them with everything left on, and I see a picture. But if I reboot, the same problem is occuring...
So I wonder if I can create a startup shortcut that will enable or force component output when Windows has boot up?!
Thanks!
Force CCC to component output even if no TV detected
Re: Force CCC to component output even if no TV detected
FYI I found the solution,
I tried to put this key in the registry everytime "{????????}" matched my ATI card :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{????????}\0000\DWORD:HDTVRULE_HDTVCONNECTED=1
Now I boot up Windows XP Media Center and even if it did not detect any display, it will initialize its output to YPrPb!!
Yeeeeahhhhhhhh!
