I've still got one other item to install before I close the box up again, it's a VIZO Multi Port 5.52 front panel device. It's got a card reader, USB, Fire Wire, ESATA, sound input/output and a 2 channel fan controler. Just need to build up the energy to tear into the thing again. First thing I really need to do is sleeve all the wires that go with the unit...........

That's a nice little control panel.

eSATA on the front too!

So, how and where would a person order one of these from? :)

My 8800GT got here yesterday, I installed it with just the air cooler for now to burn it in and take a few base line bench marks on the thing, it's like almost 3 times faster than my old 7900GT...............

Damn Bio, I knew the GT was the better buy but I was too impatient to wait and got the GTS 640MB instead.

Now I'm feel sick :vom:

Here's my best attempt so far (With a higher CPU & RAM OC as well!)

I guess I haven't pushed this system far enough.......I don't think I'll gain the ~1600pts, but I'm gonna try.

Not even looking at the numbers, that card is beautiful. I'm sure it's going to get water-cooled, but looks good on air.

Water cooling is coming as soon as I get all the ram sinks and whatnot all cleaned up and fresh thermal tape applied. I hope to get around to it this weekend depending on what the wife has on her honey-do list.............

Ooooo pretty 8800GT, now I need to wipe my mouth after seeing that sweet card. I am hoping for a 256MB model when they are out; thats if I can get my hands on one since availability will be limited just like the 512MB models.

Dammit Bio, now all I can see is green

*mutter mutter* must be the envy *mutter mutter*

I'm seriously having to stop myself from trying to find a 8800GT to see if I can tweak it enough to beat your scores. I shouldn't get one as I think the card would be wasted between the few times when I do actually get chance to game. But I'm running out of self control and reasons not to get one :P

They really are nice cards for the money, if you can find one for MSRP that is............ I've got to get Bioshock reinstalled on this rig now to see just how well the card really can perform...............
