AHAHA that's awesome! great way to bypass all the traffic cause by the disabled car. I'm betting that it can tow any of the day to day stuff but they probably have full size trucks for the stuff these can't handle.

Looks like the police there can impound your car themselves instead of having to rely on the towing company.

It looks like the tow dolly part has brakes, so the weight of the towed vehicle is less important.
even if it could only pull a stall/wrecked car off to the shoulder/next exit, it would clear up the freeway more quickly than waiting for a full size truck to make it's way through traffic.
I can think of a few places around here (long bridges, narrow highways without shoulders, etc.) that one of those could help everyday.
