College Football 2007...Just Not My Year

Post by Razorbacx »

The coaching carousel continues on. It's being released that Houston Nutt resigned, however if you really look at the big picture he was basically told to leave. Houston Nutt was given 3.65 million and allowed to take the Head job at Ole Miss, which is basically in our backyard. What blows is that Arkansas will be down next year (no Mcfadden, Jones, Hillis and Monk) and Ole Miss should be better with a strong recruiting class. Ole Miss is also in our division and we've got to play them year in and year out, so it will not surprise me to see Houston Nutt roll in here next year and beat the pants off of my HOGS. Just when you thought that beating the number one team in the nation, LSU, would solidify the team and fan base, this happens. Honestly, I'm not going to miss Nutt and all the controversy that he brings, but just thinking that now we have to contend with him in our Conference & division and that we'll be battling for the very same recruits just irks me. This is a total disaster and could not have been handled any worst.

To those of you that are Mizzou fans, good luck in the Big 12 Championship game against OU. I'll be routing for you guys to beat them and play for a National Championship as I don't want to face you guys in the Cotton Bowl as ESPN is predicting.
Don't ask me, cause I know nothing! I'm lost in this world of technology and am barely holding my head above water. Thank the Good Lord for LR, otherwise I would have drowned years ago.

Mizzou for the loss.. Not much else to say.. I just saw us lose the championship game, the chance for a BCS bowl game, the national title and all hope for the Heisman trophy in one game loss...

What a bad game for your quarterback to take the night off. From the first series when he came off the field shaking his head at having to settle for a field goal, and then not coming out and putting in the zone the next series, the game was over. Daniel was able to rush for that TD, but you could easily see he wasn't on his game.

Hate to say it, but my in laws all attending or graduated from OU, so I was rooting against MU. Should be interesting to see things wash out in the BCS selections. Crazy year for statisticians.

I don't agree... Chase was pissed the entire game... I blame the play calls more than anything. They never let Chase go deep the entire game and kept running him... He's not that great running out of the pocket and they kept saying run with the ball... Sure he broke the line once for a decent gain, but it was once.

I did find out an interesting fact after the game though... he lost his only game in four years in that stadium back in high school ;)
