Apoptosis, I have rearranged my Folding PC's as those with two instances are not running as they should (hence the number of PC's folding in the last 7 days has decreased). Therefore I will be removing an instance from the two PC's which are folding 24/7, and installing it on 3 more PC's, but they'll be folding at a part time rate....

This will bring me to:
4 PC's folding 24/7 (one instance on each)
4 PC's folding parttime

I am also trying to get some customers to install F@H on thier laptops, which if I'm successful will give me another two part time efforts (if I'm not I'll refuse to connect them to the internet  ).

I will increase this by another once I recieve the memory from yourself (having purchased most of the other components I cannot justify to the missus buying a gig of memory).

I have found that you have to watch HT p4's because the second instance always seems to quit. Dont really know why but it does.

you are way better off to have HT disabled when folding it will help performance all the way around as shown in this multi-tasking article. Just look at the Intel 640 in the charts where I ran folding benchmarks.

so are you saying it folds faster with a single instance with no ht?

Two instances on HT is slower? Hmph.

yes one instance with HT off will give you better points perday then two instance with HT on. plus you wont need to keep any eye on the second instance.
