remove certain amount of characters

Hi,
I have am checking if there is a way to rename many files & folders at once. for example I have many files that I simply want to remove 'Shortcut to' in their name and keep the remainder of the individual filenames.

Your best bet is to do a google search for "batch rename". You will find a number of low-cost products that do exactly what you are looking for. If you want to chance the freebie programs then go to the zdnet website and search for the same thing in their downloads section.
