I swore I was going to overtake you in 07, well I didn't. Then you got your ppd up for a while, and mine dove. Then I went to Linux. 1.5 weeks and counting till I overtake you. Better get your butt moving

Fold away!
I have to rebuild my PC so I won't be back folding for a while :(

You better get a good lead as I have a few ideas which will get my PPD back up to ~2K ;)

As I've always said... "Don't just sing it, BRING IT!!" I'll be folding 6 machines this weekend. Have to reinstall windows on Behemoth and my wife's machine, then a couple of slowbies from the garage to join the "fold". Should put me at 3.6-3.7k ppd.

Once you're up and running, you'll be gaining on my small farm quickly. 8) My dumb VISTA laptop has freaked out so bad that F@H will not run or be re-installed. :x When the farm was working well, it made about 756 point per week. Looking at the others here with dual cores makes me drool =P~ seeing their point output!!!

The HP Pavilion has been going well without any down time. The XClio has been doing audio editing and burning CD's for two weeks now. So, no folding on it to prevent buffer over runs. The HP Vectra is basically useless at 1.0Ghz and always gets hit with those dumb 4000 looooooong WU's. It's not worth the little points it gets.

So, yes, once your machine is back up, you'll take me out soon.

Like DaIceMan said, BRING IT on ...

well, I woke up with the flu-cold-migraine yesterday, and spent all day in bed/bathroom, so I wasn't able to get to work on my machine until today. Then 2 clients call me with issues so I had to go do visits.

Anyway... got my gamer reloaded with windows and all. Have to install F@H tomorrow night after work.

Wife's machines and others from the garage are put on back burner until later this week, or maybe next weekend. :( Oh well, at least with Behemoth working again, I can get back up to around 3400ppd or so.

well sometime tomorrow I pass you

Ken if you know a tutorial as to how to do it, I'd be happy to give it a shot with Intel's compiler.

Compile 2.6.24 now with some new optimizations. Tickless, removed some unneeded devices, and timer changes. All the available optimations have been included for my processor. I may have to look into patches.

Just nice to have Ubuntu so responsive.

I haven't started yet!
I'll have the rig in my sig going with a native Suse Linux install, This will only be for ~9hrs a day (& weekends).
My Laptop (1.6Ghz C2D) running 24/7 from tomorrow.
I'll also be adding a new quad very soon, but I'll only have that running for ~9hrs a day (& weekends). This will be clocked to <4GHz though.

I can't have Beaker beating me!

I might also be moving to a new place in a month or so.
This will mean I don't have to listen to others moan about bills and I can fold 24/7 again ;)

I've got the laptop up and running 24/7 with Suse 64 bit native install crunching SMP WU's

My main rig won't boot anymore for some reason.
I'll have a look at it tomorrow.
