The Worst of 2007

2007 was filled with quite a bit of technology highlights for sure, but we also found quite a number of hugely disappointing industry low points which are worth mention. While it’s always easy to focus on the positive by awarding the best of (that’s another article), the negative ones – I feel – need pointed out soon to help folks avoid them. So without further ado, here’s our top-10 list for the “Worst of 2007”:

How the hell does the performance increase when the mhz is dropped from 800mhz to 550mhz??!?!?!
Main Rig: C2D 6850 @ 3.0Ghz, 2Gb DDR2667Mhz @ 833Mhz 5-5-5-15 Timings , XFX xXx 8600GTS @ 730/2260 , Gigabyte Ga-945GCM-S2L
JukeBox: Currently in an Upgrade but im too lazy to do it at the moment

I think 800MHz is actually 400MHz due to double data rate and the 550MHz is 1100MHz :?

I haven't read the review as I'm in work.

SUMMARY: PNY really push the boundaries of DDR2 with this 1173MHz kit...
so 400FSB(800mhz) -> ~550FSB(1173MHz)

to elaborate :)
