unlocking stream processors?

has any one heard of any way to unlock the stram procesors on a g92 core? if you could would it make a 8800 gt the same as an 8800 gts? (assuming you also oc the gt) because looking at the specs that seems to be the only difference between the two, 14 stream procesors

I haven't heard of a way to un;ock them yet and I keep checking around every few days.............

They're probably laser-cut, to prevent the "6800 softmod" from happening again (the softmodded 6800s could, with the right memory config, come within spitting distance of a 6800GT...)
