I don't know why you would want a gaming laptop? They probably get way too hot, and the battery won't last while gaming.

Your right about the battery not lasting, I upgraded to a 12 cell lithium ion when I bought my lappy, normal use I get 4-4 1/2 hours, gaming under 2. That's with just ATI Radeon 128M dedicated memory on the 200 m controller. An 8800 be makin sparks fly out of the electric socket as you walk by trying to get more juice. Now in the arm chair with it plugged in it's nice for medium demanding games, on the road not so much.
