ESWC China Kick-off

Radiance Technology, new owner of the Electronic Sports World Cup Chinese license, today announced the national ESWC tour in over 25 major cities in China and the Final in Wuxi to select the Chinese champions for ESWC 2008.

Radiance Technology International announced this Tuesday 29th January 2008 in Beijing, China, during the ESWC China opening conference their plan to select the national champions for the upcoming 2008 Grand Final in USA.

Among the invitees and journalists, the official Chinese Sporting Bureau, represented by Mrs Wang Wei and the Wuxi Broadcasting Media Group, represented by Mr. Yan Kequin, Chairman, launched the operations.

The process of preliminaries will be managed as a tour in over 25 cities closed by a National Final in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The modern city of Wuxi, leading today the cartoon and the video games industry in China, will so add to its assets E-Sports and ESWC in 2008.

At the end of the season, more than 20 champions, including at least two “counter-strike” teams, one “cs female” team, one “DotA” team and 2 “Warcraft” players, will represent China in the Grand Final in USA.
