Kingston DDR2 PC2-6000 (750MHz) Memory

Post by Apoptosis »

Got an interesting read for everyone today when it comes to DDR2 memory. We take a closer look at Kingston's new 750MHz part, the PC2-6000 HyperX memory line.

"The KHX6000D2K2 kit is a matched pair dual channel 512MB DDR2 750MHz PC2-6000 modules. These modules are rated at 4-4-4-12 timings with 1.9 Volts. Not the lowest latency on the market today by any means, but still considered low latency for DDR2 memory at 750MHz."

Nice to see kingston back in to the limelight. I know they have had performance parts out but it seems like the number of DDR1 performance parts really dropped off after BH-5. I am really glad to see them back into the arean with some good overclocking stuff. Kingston has always been on of my personal fav's when it comes to memory, plus they have very good warranty policies.
