PCOnline has leaked out benchmarks on the GeForce 9600 GT nearly a month before its launch, which is Feb 14th according to the site...

Looks like the 65nm core on the GeForce 9600 GT is the G94, which is obviously different from the G92 cores that are found on the GeForce 8800 GT and GeForce 8800 GTS 512.

This has nothing to do with this thread but... is it possible for you to make outside links open in a new tab automatically?

Hold control and click is the easiest.

Does nVidia have any plans to move to 55nm anytime soon?

Doesn't it depend on TSMC?

Yeah, when I click on my mouse's wheel it opens a new tab, but it would just be easier to automatically get a new tab :P

Well i have open links in new tab selected in firefox, yet certain links still open in the same tab. Quirky.

AS to the 9600GT if the price is right, this makes a nice card. Shame there wasn't a compare to the 8800GT on there. I guess we'll have to wait for official reviews to see those stats.

Does this mean that there should be a 9800 in the works soon then?

Dan
Is that under options, tabs, and then, new pages should be opened in?

There's the rumored 9800GX2, even though it's just SLI 8800GTS. Lazy nVidia.

I'd buy 2 if they were to cost 150 bucks each or less. I'd only want the 512mb version though.

It's normal because they are chipper to build.

Does anyone know what the price point of this card is expected to be? And the style of that hardspell review was not that helpful at all to me for some reason, something about the long list style with tiny details embedded in pics.

The numbers was not _that_ impressive, espcially the fps during crysis etc.
This might be bad driver optimizing though.
Lets see what happens after launch.
Might be cheap to SLI :)

That's actually just a regurgitation of the pics and results from the first Japanese(?) review.

Consider that it is the 8600GT that you should be comparing this card to and you shold realise how much better it is.

9600GT benchies are popping up on many places on the web.I would wait for a review done by a bit better known website or forum. It looks like it'll be an worthy successor of the 8600GT.

Kinda looks like the 9600GT will do for nVidia what the HD3850 did for DAAMIT.
