Need a Valentines idea?
Need a Valentines idea?
My girlfriend seems to like matching the clothes she wears to the clothes I wear. I generally do not encourage this, but I can make an exception for her.
I found this at thinkgeek.com
http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/generic/a090/
Now you can match, and have an awesome shirt (think Zelda).

LMAO that shirt is just classic and hilarious.

That's a cool idea. I suppose those are battery operated.
I'd like a shirt with a monkey's head on it that puts his hands over his ears when I get too close to my wife.

I'll try to get a picture. She is not a big videogame fan, but the heart crap makes her giddy.

Re: Need a Valentines idea?
That is so awesome! I wonder if you would have to wash those shirts by hand, so as to not damage the hearts? BTW, does anyone own a similar battery-powered shirt? I wonder if it adds any significant weight and/or discomfort while wearing it?

Re: Need a Valentines idea?
you can take all of the components out and put it in the washer, but you're supposed to hang to dry.
I originally wanted the equalizer shirt, but it is a little expensive for a t-shirt, and you can't take out the electronics, you have to hand wash.

If you have a laptop / mobile wifi-enabled device, the wifi detector shirt is always great: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/generic/991e/ (I'm sure most have already seen this)vicaphit wrote:I originally wanted the equalizer shirt, but it is a little expensive for a t-shirt, and you can't take out the electronics, you have to hand wash.

Re: Need a Valentines idea?
whatever you do, DO NOT use DHL for shipping. They have gotten my shirts lost in limbo somewhere and when I call about it they just tell me to call thinkgeek.

Re: Need a Valentines idea?
I'm going to call DHL again, because it is their fault. If they tell me the same thing again I will call thinkgeek.

Re: Need a Valentines idea?
Bump for a warning
I just got the shirts today, took a week and a half.
I will be RMAing them straight back to thinkgeek. They aren't put together very well, the batterpack is large, and makes a high pitched sound when turned on, the cable that goes from the batteries to the LEDs is a ribbon cable, wrapped with cloth, and doesn't stay hidden very well. I had a bunch of bulges all over the shirt. I know the one I got for my girlfriend would be form fitting, so it would show even more.
Not a good purchase. Sorry I posted this.
