What did you do to get all those points. You must have a least 5 rigs running 24x7. What is your secret? You are gaining points to make DeIceman sweat. I love the points Keep up the folding you dog.
hahahaha! I wondered when someone would notice. ;) I'm actually trying to keep pace with darkstar for a week, I'm close but just not quite. You'll be surprised to know that all but 243 points per day come from 3 pc's!! Currently active on an E6700 at 3GHz, E8400 at 4GHz, and a Quad at 3.2GHz.
fahmon shows 8668-8900 ppd depending on how much surfing i do on the e8400.
Keep folding!!!
edit: If I had a decent cooler the Quad would be at 3.8 or 4. Maybe I'll pick one of those up this week and get the points flowing a little more.
I don't sweat much. Only so much my little systems can do. I'm going to throw a couple more gigs of ram in the Behemoth, and hope it helps even a little. And then another couple gigs in the 'beast if that helps. Maybe when Uncle Sam sends that rebate out, I can build another small machine (E8400 of course) to up my points a bit to stave off the charge.

I am missing a wu from yesterday evening, hopefully that will show up soon, it's making me look bad!!! i finally got more info about making some zombie (just cpu, mobo, ram, usb key) folders and gave it a shot last night. i'll be switching all my clients over to this setup soon and should get a nice ppd pickup. my e8400 picked up 400ppd by switching to linux...too bad it's my gaming machine and that means you pretty much have to run windows on it.
keep up the great work guys, our average is up and new folders are joining! i'm still trying to decide what i want my new folding cpu to be, i've got ram and mobo waiting for it.

Congrats on 600k!
I'm trying to catch up, not sure how much folding heat I can handle once the weather starts warming. I guess maybe I should get some wolfdale's folding at low volts so I don't get so far behind again.
Great Job, DaIceMan Why can't we move up in the top 100? Last time I checked, we were down one to 117. I know that the team is doing everything it can and then some. Maybe we just don't have enough folders on our team.?
Well my victory was short lived, I was ahead of darkstar by a hundred points in 24 hour average but now I'm back down cuz I did some reconfiguring last night and all my wu's are going to hit right around the same time tonight. I'm doing some testing of the USB key folding client for truly dedicated folding machines and seeing some great results.
E6700 @ 3.1 GHz went from ~2000ppd to 2380ppd. E8400 @ 4.0 went from ~2750ppd to ~3150ppd. I can't get this to run correctly on the Nvidia 780i board so I can't say how big of an increase yorkfield gets from this yet. I've tried using the onboard NICs and an Intel PCI NIC but neither are getting DNS assignments.
I've got some info about yorkfield and 780i that I want to share, I'll get it posted in the Intel proc. section soon.
can you tell me what that means in newbie terms please.
I was going to go out and buy a ps3, but I was watching the stock market and I put my cash adding to my positions. Sorry team.
I have a q6700 with the latest bios. I'm using the badaxe2 motherboard with 2g. ram. Corsair domanator 1066. If I change my multiplier from 10 to 12 will I get a good o.c.., or will my system not work? Just thought I could get a few extra folding points. What are your thoughts? Never did it before and I would hate to let you guys down. Fold on!

I'm not sure what cooling you've got on that thing but you should be able to push up to 300FSB without any issues. Just make sure that Enhanced power slope is Enabled. You might even be able to get away with 320, just try and see.
Uh oh, Darkstar is going to get serious now....and I've been debating all week on if I want to buy a Q66 or another E84.
