SMP fah fails after M$ updates

All my XP systems failed to load the SMP after updates (patch Tuesday) and the reboot. In order to get it running again, a reinstall must take place......HOWEVER as i found out dont fun the Install.bat batch file if you want to bee able to pick up where you left off, you will lose everything and start a new WU (as i found out)
after the download and install simply double click the fah.exe file and it will resume from the point you were at before the update reboot.

thought i would post this in case anyone else runs into the problem

That's probably because you failed to upgrade your clients when it expired on February 2nd. Was this the first time you've rebooted since then?

No, i rebooted about 2 days ago on some of them....

can you post the KB numbers of the updates? I'll run them in my VM of XP and see if I can recreate the error. It hasn't been reported widespread on any F@H forums, so I'm suspecting its something local to you, but if I can recreate it, it will help Stanford in the future

Not sure, what ever M$ released for patch tuesday, i'll check later if i have time. Also no longer running on my Vista Ultimate machine, getting socket errors...
