As a previous tech support agent, I'd be very surprised if any computer company would help you. It's only happening during the game?... then it isn't their product... and it isn't their problem. They might offer some suggestions, but chances are, you're out of luck I use to tell customers, if it didn't come out of the box, I don't support it. A really upset co-worker was dealing with this issue... said okay, fine we'll do it your way... we'll fix it. He talked the person through an entire format/reinstall. When he was done, he said... the computer is just like it came out of the box... problem solved right? :finga: "What about my files?'

The company I worked for gave a CD with all the drivers on it... and you could boot from it and run a DOS based test on all the hardware. Took hours to complete.

I was getting this same blue screen error message whenever I tried to quit Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The updating drivers and reinstalling the mouse drivers didn't work either. This is a new computer so I didn't think it was a ram issue. (At least I hoped not)

I looked around more and came across this Microsoft Hotfix
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929338

And, sure enough, this fixed it. I've exited Oblivion now 7 or 8 times and it hasn't bluescreen'd me yet.

I'll post on here again if I start getting the BSOD again, but so far it looks fine.

NOTE: This hotfix works on Windows XP with SP2 (Home and Pro editions)
However, I have XP Media Center Edition and it worked for me.
