I disagree, prostitution should not be made illegal, it should be regulated. In countries like Panama and thailand, working girls have to undergo a physical every month and be certified. You are nevergoing to get rid of the "Worlds oldest profession",. and who are we to tell a woman or man what they can or can't do to make money? Hell, they screw one person for money, Haliburton, Enron, etc screwed millions out of money. besides, there a people out there who for whatever reason can't find someone for a deep intimate relationshgip, yet everyone needs that personal contact.
As to tobacco, thats a big point with me. I think we need to ban soft money and the influence of special interest groups. Tobacco plants are very toxic, and pretty much ruin soil. why xcan't the US and UN, compensate the tobcco growers to grow food stuff for third world countries? like the public works project we need to implement, we could help those farmers, and help starving people in countries in Africa, N korea etc.....good will goes along ways.

I'm not sure how you guys get that out of my point.
I'll just say we need to make changes as a people and as a government. People talk about less government involvement, more freedoms, yet what have we shown to deserve it? people are going to do what will benefit them, not whats best for everyone (I'm not trying to include everyone in that statement, there are very good people out there who are willing to do the right thing, but as a whole, that isn't rue about our society).

People can sit around and bitch, or they can get out and actually do something. i'm not talking about protesting or politicking, i'm talking about the things they can do as individual, make it contagious, make other people want to do the right thing and be better people....it all starts with yourself. I love these protestors, especially the anit-war ones, who end up turning violent and destryoing things, or these people that show up at WTO meetings. I think we shgould pass a law allowing the summmary beatings of all professional protestors

I know its locked but i just wanted to make sure you knew that i was just messing around and my quotes were not from your view point but from Mad TV and a skit they did. Nothing to do with politics.
