like what the other guy mentioned, the 256mb vram may be a problem at 1280x1024 and higher res when DX10 comes out. I hope I am wrong though, so I can pick up a 8600gt and SLI it in the future.

Another thing I heard, is that the 8600ultra is gonna be either rare to find, or may not even come out itself. There is a lot of speculation floating around, and I hope they too are wrong, as the 8600ultra sounds like an awesome card for the price (since I live in Canada, I think the prices, especially at the beginning, will be like the Ultra being close to 280 bucks, and the GT being a little over 200 bucks).
