update/revival:

well, im using catalyst 8.2, and it works fine and dandy on everything, except HL2 and E1(oh yay), which, whenever i TRY to play, i get a BSOD, regardless of CPU FSB ratio, core clock, mem speed, RAM speed, CPU speed and temps are fine, because TF2 and Portal run flawlessly for hours on end and im on a fresh install on XP PRO, because i thought a reinstall whould fix DX errors(i guess it kinda did, but DX errors and force quit are better than a BSOD IMHO)

btw, i found basically the best TF2 server on the east coast and i beat Portal(the main game) in 3 1/2 hours, now im on advanced/challenge levels, which are damn near impossible

Portal is great, I have played it through about 3 times, and even played many of the advanced levels. Quite a challenge. Can't wait until they have a map pack or something.

have you beat any of the last three challenges?()i found the first three...challenging, and the last three..impossible

I cant remember if I beat them or not, I know I played some impossible levels, and I am the kind of person who will sit there and play them until they are beaten.
