I'm a dial-up'er at home for only $5 a month on AOL.

Here's my work connection:
Download Speed: 1279 kbps (159.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 316 kbps (39.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

It's nothing special. BUT, it sure beats 48k download at home. :)

I guess my work-place sucks....Still gives a nice ping playing Q4! 8)

Looks like my company's nuclear firewall is doing it's job which could explain the "slow" upload speed.

I wanted to show a real hi-speed connection but I get an error!
Speed Test requires at least version 7 of Flash.
Please update your client.
I'll try get ISG to install flash 7 for me on Monday.....

At least I don't have AOL... they aren't even available where I live. :P

I pay about $50/month for my phoneline/dial-up connection though.

hehe... that's Gameagon for ya! :) :P I love that place. It's so fun downloading stuff on that box rather than my home box.

The switch and NIC are both 100mbps, so that's the max. The network's capability is like a hundred times greater than that.

Oh, that bandwidth is free! :finga:

My actual home network is 3mbps / 256kbps and I hope to upgrade to 5mbps / 384kbps soon. That box with the insane speeds is just a co-lo machine in Milwaukee, WI.
