CD/DVD/Offline Search engine

Hi.

I've been looking and looking to see if there is a search engine maker that doesn't cost anything (I like freebies) that can index any file type on a cd or dvd. I have been looking, and so far, I haven't found anything. I have a lot of small files on a cd, and I want to be able search them, so it can't index a limited number of files.

sorry, no freeware - but i really can suggest Where Is It. perfect program (with regular updates).
