High-Quality DivX Video Experience to be Enabled on ATSC Digital TVs Powered by Innovative AMD Technology
SAN DIEGO -- Jan. 16, 2008 DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ:DIVX), a digital media company, today announced a licensing agreement with semiconductor supplier AMD (NYSE:AMD). This agreement will allow AMD to include DivX(R) video technology with specific AMD Xilleon(TM) processors to power a broad range of next-generation digital TVs worldwide.

The two companies will work together to achieve DivX Certification for specific AMD Xilleon processors. Products that bear the DivX Certified(R) logo have undergone a rigorous testing program to ensure a high-quality DivX media experience, including reliable video playback, interoperability with other DivX Certified devices and the visual quality users expect from DivX.
