Packard Bell and Intel to Sponsor ESWC Masters of Paris

As an Official Partner and Supplier of the last ESWC Grand Final, Packard Bell renews its involvement with European gamers by signing a new agreement with the company Games-Services. According to this partnership, Packard Bell will support the most important E-Sports events of the ESWC 2008 season as well as the ESWC Masters of Paris during the “Mondial du Gaming”, that will be staged at the Palais Omnisports of Paris Bercy, one of the main indoor sporting arenas of Europe, from 4th to 6th July, 2008.

Designed for the most demanding gamers, Intel-based Packard Bell iPower PCs will equip several ESWC National Finals in Europe and the “Mondial du Gaming”, which will notably gather the best gamers of the world for the first ESWC Masters. Packard Bell will provide a major set-up with more than 350 computers – gaming desktops and notebooks – for all players, professionals as well as enthusiasts, who will compete in the arena of Paris Bercy. The performance of the Packard Bell PCs will guarantee all participants of the ESWC Masters tournaments, the best gaming experience as well as absolutely fair and standardized conditions.

Moreover, Packard Bell will also launch its second edition of its international video games “iPowergames’’ competition which final will happen in Paris Bercy during the whole gaming show. Close to hundred champions coming from several EMEA countries, who will win their qualifications in the next few months through online and offline tournaments, will be invited in Paris to challenge each other on stage for the “iPowergames” finals.
