Pentium D820, worth setting up to fold SMP?

Post by DMB2000uk »

As the title states.

I have a spare mobo and CPU, and can set up F@H running from a USB stick (If I read and understand the guide bwall posted).

Is it worth setting this up with SMP, or just 2x single clients.

Also, How maintanace free will the setup be? I might have to put the system somewhere that it won't get checked up on very often so if it needs things altering regularly (like F@H program updates) what is the best client to go for.

SMP can be buggy, and I doubt it will make the deadlines, I'm not 100% sure on that though. I would say 2 Single Instances would work better, but I won't know till I search
