PalitLAN comes to North American Gamers and Organizers!
World leading graphics card manufacturer Palit proudly announces the launch of PalitLAN.Com. Simply put PalitLAN.Com is designed to be the greatest source of information about LAN Parties ever created. Palit has dedicated over $30,000 in software development alone to create the PalitLAN.Com community space with tools, forums, and event listings to help event organizers, gamers, and enthusiasts come together.
LAN Party Organizers can enter their event’s details into an online form which is then used to populate a dynamic set of resources including a unique event page and event calendar. These event pages will include details like the games to be played, number of seats, costs, date and location. They will also include pictures of past events showing gamers competing, winning prizes, and just about everything else that happens at a LAN Party.
Organizers will have access to tools that making managing an event easier for them. Under development is the Party Builder utility to help organizers lay out power, seating, and the network. Organizers will also have access to a private forum to discuss topics with other organizers. This forum will include a section for organizers to share hardware with each other. Attendees will be able to register with PalitLAN.Com and maintain an extended profile of their equipment including information like what power supply, CPU and graphics card they have. Once registered, the LAN Party organizer will have access to this information which can tell them how much power each PC needs allowing them to arrange attendees in the best way to avoid power problems.
PalitLAN.Com will provide sponsorship exclusively for small events of fewer than 100 attendees. While events of all sizes will be listed on the Event Calendar only events under 100 attendees will receive prizes, swag and giveaway items from Palit as well as other sponsors.
