Problem installing Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Post by bryz05 »

I have a problem installing Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit in my desktop pc, I tried 3x's installing the OS and only x86 is the only choice I have to choose, and I cant find x64... I want to have 64bit as my system type because I have 4G of memory, because 32bit only read 3.584G of my 4G memory. i want to maximize my memory... My processor supports 64bit (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz 1333FSB & Supports Intel 64).

So please help me...
I will wait for all of your replies..
Thanks in advanced and godbless...

Best regards,

Vista Ultimate comes with 2 dvds - 1 for 32bit and 1 for 64bit. Use the 64bit dvd :)

You and he cant have it running at the same time, from the same discs anyway, since it is illegal and MS will catch you ;)

If it's anything like XP, and I'm sure it is since they're both MS, then it will only activate on one machine and the license is tied to that machines motherboard, thus making any future installs or attempts to activate the same license, piracy...illegal.
