URGENT QUESTION

what would happen if i put an 8800gt and an 8600gt in the same system (sli mobo) and connected them with an sli bridge?

Urgent, lol.

Nothing would happen. You would have two separate graphics cards in a pc is all

All you would be able to do is power 4 separate monitors.

i posted this as urgent cause i have an 8600gt here that im gonna give to a client after i test it out and i wondered if i could do like what nate did in that 3450+3870 crossfire review

yah ati always had better engineering, its just that everythings optimized for nvidia :cry:

Because that's the way it's meant to be played.

On a positive note, you'll get the ability to run 4 monitors, like what Dan said. Other than that, it's pretty much useless.
