NVIDIA nForce 7 AMD Series Arrives - ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe Motherboard
More than five months ago, NVIDIA announced the industry’s first hybrid technology for PC platforms during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. During this time, they also showed off the nForce 780a SLI motherboards that were due out in Q1 2008. It seems things got pushed back as NVIDIA is officially announcing the nForce 7 series today in Q2 2008.
That sucks that all the benches are out of date before they even get posted. It looks to be a great system board. Now if AMD can get a cpu to go with it that will overclock well and beat the pants off Intel.
AMD 960T OC'ed to 4gz
ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970

hmmm ... why no 790FX enthuisast board comparision that can use 1066Mhz ram and run 9850 at the higher FSB speed as with other 780g boards it was reported that there were problems running at higher clock of some quad cores.
It will be very interesting to compare the board once the relauched 790fx with sb700 sound bridge and 9950 and perhaps even the new debiun CPU shanghai core with corrected cache count the way the core should have been from day 1... just like the 4870 witht the corrected TMU interface.
hmm we all make mistakes ... learn from it and build on it.
some times saving a buck at design stage can cost a lot more production time.
perhaps more protypes are need to find the balance between cost, performance & end yield
the next 6 months are going to be very interesting
