which video card.
which video card.
Hi everyone1, I've just bought myself an Intel D845GEBV2 board. At the moment it's not working but I'm pretty sure it's cos I've not got the propper graphix card for it. The card that I tried to use, from my old set-up, is an ATI D333053 (does that sound right, it's the number on the back of the card). Can anyone reccoment an appropriate card for this board please? I don't need anything too special, just as long as the machine works! Also if anyone knows that this card should work with the board and that the problem lies elsewhere could you let me know, thanks very much!

Re: which video card.
that mother board supports:
AGP connector supporting 1x, 2x, and 4x AGP cards (1.5 V only) or an AGP Digital Display (ADD) card.
That is not the name of the ATI card so that didnt help much
for $30 you could get something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102744
Also, that board has intergrated graphics so you shouldnt even need to use a video card(to just have it working). take the card you have out and plug your monitor directly into the motherboard VGA connector. you can at least find out if it is the video card.
