I am wanting to upgrade my Laptop from my T5250 processor to the T7800 processor.
From what I have found out, it should be compatible as both use socket P, both are Memrom (T5250 is Memrom-2M, T7800 is Memrom, I think) and both are 35W Design Power and are 100' Thermal Specification.
My Laptop supports 800Mhz bus speed.
Would I be able to upgrade it?
Also are they any other factors of a processor im not taking into account for compatibiliy with upgrading my Laptop?
Thank you.

Yeah, the BIOS compatibility.
If your laptop was ever sold originally with a T7800 then you should be fine to replace your current CPU with one (as long as your BIOS is the latest version).
If it wasn't an option to buy then you can check out your manufacturers site for your laptop and see if it has a CPU compatibility list, or if the BIOS page mentions adding new CPU support for that model.

My bios seems like it will support it.
Does it look like it will be compatible then?

What is the exact model of your laptop? Without that info we really can't help much other than what Dan has already said...
